Tani is one of the founders of Satanic Reds Social Realists organization. The organization, despite the name of it, is a bonafide Left Hand Path organization featuring pure forms of ancient Eastern Esoteric Tradition, Dark Goddess Wicca and Pythagoreanism along with some other modern LHP. It is NOT "Satan-oriented" as all other "satanic" organizations are, nor is it anti-Christian in any way. The name is derived from two Vedantic words: Sat and Tan, Being and Becoming. It's different. SR is a semi-political organization that is in line with FD Roosevelt's New Deal, with strong Gene Roddenberry progressive ideas. The use of the word "Red" is a spoof, since all progressive ideas are called "Red" by the enemies of progress and change. SR is not, nor has it ever claimed to be, a Communist organization.
